SoundCloud is making it easier for artists to experiment with generative music by integrating directly with ElevenLabs. Instead of exporting an AI-generated track from ElevenLabs and uploading it separately, creators can now publish straight to SoundCloud.
The partnership gives SoundCloud Artist Pro subscribers three months of ElevenMusic Pro at no cost, opening the door for more musicians, producers, and hobbyists to test AI-assisted creation tools in their workflow.
Why it matters
This is a practical step toward reducing friction for creators. By connecting AI generation tools with a major music-sharing platform, the integration could help independent artists prototype songs faster, explore new styles, and share experiments with audiences more easily.
- Faster workflow: fewer steps between creating and publishing.
- More access: free trial access helps artists explore AI music tools.
- Transparency: songs published from ElevenLabs will be labeled as AI-generated.
The labeling piece is especially important: as AI music grows, clear disclosure can help listeners understand what they are hearing while allowing creators to use new tools responsibly.
