OpenAI is helping accelerate Thailand’s emerging AI startup ecosystem through a new partnership with the country’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).
The eight-week accelerator will support 10 startups working across health, wellness, and education—areas where practical AI tools can improve access, personalization, and productivity for everyday users.
From promising prototypes to trusted products
The program is designed to help founders move beyond early demos and build AI products that are reliable, useful, and ready for real-world adoption. That focus on trust and deployment is especially important in sensitive sectors like healthcare and learning.
- Hands-on support for early-stage AI teams
- Focus on high-impact sectors including health and education
- Boost for Thailand’s next generation of AI entrepreneurs
By combining OpenAI’s AI expertise with Thailand’s national innovation goals, the accelerator could help local startups create solutions that scale across the region and deliver meaningful social and economic benefits.
